Let's see... I'll give my best with a little help from Google:
quoteThis evening, through the officials intermediaries, Marco Mattiacci made me know that Ferrari absolutely does NOT share the lynching media readily took on the Holy Drinker. The confidence of the Scuderia in the Blond, aka Kimi Raikkonen, is intact.
I think it's an appropriate question, although the famous legend of #enricostaisereno, obviously for other chores, push the casual observer to a cautious concern.
But the gesture is interesting and deserves to be reported.
If in Maranello fall into the trap of those who wish to reduce a difficult situation to a matter of drivers, oh, well, well, likewise we would not even be at coffee, but "all'ammazzacaffè!" ( )
Anyway we'll see. Sometimes even having seen too many is an excellent antidote to the virus of stupidity.
If you like, you can use use this post to tell about the Chinese GP. Happy Easter to all (I work tomorrow as usual on Sky, but I should be able to post my comment on the race. Greet ADR, understood as Friend Rosberg: Hamilton maybe skip the neuron and then ...)
The new boss of Maranello stated that the confidence of ferrari to Kimi is intact and they dont share the lynching that media do to Kimi. This came as a reply to thoughts that Turrini wrote in his previous blog and which stirred up questions and fears. Actually Turrini wrote that there were many, a lobby, that did not favor Kimi's return. he even said that those have their own interests and do their job. he did not write that in ferrari there are people who want Kimi now out. he also wrote that he hopes the new Maranello boss will have the intelligence to realize there are two drivers in ferrari, because thats how you win championships.
Just hope this new car will be made for Kimi as the actual one is made for and around Alonso. In fact I think that the study of the F14T was started last year and made according to Alonso wishes.
Gazzetta dello Sport says they're expecting new parts made by James Allison. And new electronic changes for Kimi's car. That sounds good to me

quoteRetweeted PitLaneTalk (@pitlanetalk): Kimi Raikkonen will be in Maranello next week doing simulator work to improve his feeling on the F14-T and test new parts.

I'm not to excited now, afrer reading this couple of posts at Kimi's oficial forum:

quoteThe challenge that Kimi is facing is that Ferrari is using since 2012 Pullrod suspension in order to reduce the front of the car which gives better balance.
quoteFerrari have stuck with their pull-rod front suspension for a third season running despite being less aerodynamically beneficial this season due to the lower chassis height.
http://richlandf1.com/?p=18512 This makes the F14 T more understeer which is not suitable to oversteer driver like Kimi (maybe this is what he meant by driving style) and to help him, the team should improve the setup. This type of suspensions make it very difficult to find a suitable setup during the weekend, the team should do hard work around those springs which includes removing some parts like the gearbox ... this improvement changes from circuit to another and you can imagine the hours the team spends on Kimi's car on Friday! even though, the car wont response the way it should and therefore the team has to work on the aerodynamic part of Kimi's car. On the other hand, Alonso has no big problem with this part, maybe he prefers it to have better driving style.

quote I did some further searching and I found this:
quoteFerrari reused an old idea, last time raced with Gabriele Tredozi and Gustav Brunner-designed European Minardi PS1, raced by certain Fernando Alonso and Tarso Marques. Both then and now one of the drivers at the wheel is Alonso.
quoteMeanwhile, there is a much bigger disadvantage to using pull-rod suspension in terms of the limitations it creates in being able to tune the car's handling. If you move the push-rod mounting point backwards or forwards of the fulcrum of the top and bottom wishbone, you can transfer load across the car when the driver is steering and effectively "lighten" the front wheel. That means the car can be tuned to work in both high and low-speed corners. It allows you to make the car softer and more compliant in low-speed corners without softening the suspension - thereby keeping the high mechanical stiffness you need in the car for high-speed corners. Ferrari's decision to design pull-rod suspension limits their ability to tune the F2012's handling. Ferrari's pull-rod is connected to the wishbone, not the upright, so that tuning facility is not available in the same way for Ferrari. You can still do some of it with the king-pin and castor angles, but anything you do that helps you in one area of the track will hurt you in another. That compromise doesn't exist with push-rods. So getting the ideal balance in handling characteristics for both low- and high-speed corners is tougher with pull-rod front suspension than with push-rod. Ferrari have effectively taken a tool out of their tool bag
I don't want to be pesimistic, but by next year. Kimi will already be no. 2 driver, will Ferrari build a car to suit their second driver better than their first?
now the car is built around nando. Kimi suffers a lot. if they dont help him they wont get the advantage they wanted over the alonso +massa duo. they did not hire Kimi because they were in love with him, but not to destroy him as i read some fans say...i think it will depend on the results of Alonso with the given car and the performance of the car itself compared to the other teams.
thank you Olga for words of wisdom. fans are going mental rather than supporting each other and their driver, making another 'witch hunt'. No witch hunt helped anyone so far, but it did show true colours of those 'hunters'
Nomad, you're the rider so mysterious Nomad, you're the spirit that men fear in us
one must still have chaos in oneself to be able to give birth to a dancing star - it's a satanic drug thing you wouldn't understand...
I read so much about pullrod.. what a disadvantage that is and so on.. I don't know about it but I would think that Ferrari had reasons to use it again.. apart from that it may suit Alonso.
Anyway, Ferrari will have a big update in Spain and they are still trying to help Kimi. Sure last race was bad but it's was one race, before that Kimi wasn't far off Alonso and he actually got more comfortable in the car. So let's wait a bit before already thinking about next season
