ZitatHamilton jams driver market F1 | Turun Sanomat 11:57
Lewis Hamilton is at the center of F1 driver market. Hamilton's contract with McLaren expires at the end of this season, and negotiations for the future contract of 27-year-old British star has not gone any way succesfully.
From the start of the season Didier Coton has helped Hamilton in negotiations.
According paddock sources, Hamilton is not happy with McLaren's development of the car, and also the salary offered to him does not fulfill his desires.
The 2008 world champion is in a position that every team is interested, when a driver with this kind of talent is on free market. Hamilton will hold driver market on his grip at least until the summer recess in August.
Red Bull and Mercedes has one seat open for the next season, so if Hamilton decides to say goodbye to McLaren, there surely are takers.
At least, Mark Webber in Red Bull and Michael Schumacher in Mercedes will have to wait until Hamilton has made his decision, before opening their own contract negotiations.
Hamilton would be a big gain for both - unless McLaren bends to demands of its star.
but honestly ... can Hamilton call all the shots? ... he is not doing wonders at mclaren is he ... talent yes, but talent can only take you so far, right attitude takes you further

Really?? 20 million a year?! That's more than 20 times more what our prime minister gets, and something I won't probably earn in a lifetime.
What do these guys do with 20 million a year?
If I was an F1 driver, or a sport star earning the same amount, I would live on 1-3 million and use the rest to build a charity for the poor countries which have no food and dirty water...well I've always wanted to do that " title="red" />
