I've always thought it was weird that Jenni having been able to choose any thing to do with her own life, chose to work with the one thing his husband was alergic to. " title="hmm" />
And it was also weird not seeing any picture of them toghether for years, not even when he was in WRC and had more spare time. Plus watching Kimi having fun with a bunch of male and female friends every holiday...
Anyway, I've always said it must be tough to be married to someone who works in F1.
Zitat von WHATEVERI've always thought it was weird that Jenni having been able to choose any thing to do with her own life, chose to work with the one thing his husband was alergic to.
" title="ha" /> Sorry, can't help it. " title="red" />
Well, at least they have no children so kids won't be affected, that's the only positive.
Zitat von WHATEVER Anyway, I've always said it must be tough to be married to someone who works in F1.
Still, very sad for them...
I agree, it can be difficult at normal times add F1 and lots of travel and it is almost impossible. They have been appart for a long time now, it might actually be easier on both now that it is out in the open.
About the article..its childish as Boudica commented..there has been a lots of talk on finnish sites about the matter and in one site which isnt "gossip" site at all, one writer who isnt interested in Kimi or Jenni either but comes from the town Jenni is from, said "its common knoledge here Jenni has had her share of men like Kimi has been seen with women , but rumour here tells Jenni has a new darling, so its kind of relief to Kimis friends they are divorcing"
Both of them have lived the life of their own and this was rather expected..in fact I was wondering how long would it take for them to realise it.
thanks Apple " title="hug" /> for me it wasn't a surprise, Kimi said years ago (after his noisy affair with that Italian brunette and Jenni''s so called affair with his prev trainer) that they had an agreement concerning their life. For me this "on paper" relationship wasn't very convincing " title="hmm" />
i was totally expecting it too. i do think that perhaps they are both relieved, yet noone gets married to get separated. so there is always some sadness i think. i just wish both and mostly Kimi the best for the future! " title="holy" />
In southern Spain, Jerez de la Frontera, Formula 1 driver Kimi Raikkonen was relaxed. In the interview, the 2007 world champion talked in good mood about friendships, Sebastian Vettel and his legendary quote when he won a year ago in Abu Dhabi: "Leave me alone, I know what I'm doing.".
Does it make a difference if you go against a friend or against someone you do not like?
KR: I don't hate anybody. But I am also not the best friend of any. But ultimately it makes no difference who you go against. You want to beat anyone.
Would you say, though, that you are friends with Sebastian Vettel?
KR: Yes, we are friends. But as soon as you drive a race that simply doesn't matter anymore. Maybe I talk more with him than with others. But the last time it was in the final last year in Brazil. There I also congratulated him.
On the way to victory in Abu Dhabi last season, you have asked your team to keep quiet. How many times have you heard this saying since then from your team?
KR: That's the past. But this has happened before and it will probably happen again sometime.
What circumstances would be perfect for you, so you can deliver your best performance?
KR: There's no secret. We need to have a good car. That is the first part. If you do not have it, you have no chance to win. And even then it depends simply on what's happening during the year. My goal is very clear, to be there from the beginning.
Goals are therefore to win races and the championship: Can you also be a happy Formula 1 driver without a victory?
KR: You're probably never really happy if you don't win. And if you've won once, you always want more, even the championship. Unfortunately, there are still a few more guys who want the same thing. It's not easy.

At the same time as the knowledge of Kimi Räikkönen's and Jenni Dahlman-Räikkönen's separation went on hectic in Finland, Kimi himself was shining in Spain as the main star of a car-commerical.
Kimi shooted Renault Megane's commercial on Friday in Costa Brava. In the shooted footage Kimi poses for the camera-team in a longsleeved dark sweater and jeans on the beach.
To the joy of those who were on the beach, Kimi flashed his sixpack while they were putting the microphone on him. In the actual commercial Räikkönen wears all clothes as fas as I know.
Kimi stayed true to his image, because you didn't really see a smile on the Iceman's face.
