On the other hand it may be true that they lost more than a top driver. Because if they really are OK, then they will land a good sponsorship deal and they can carry on with their development of the 2014 car and their aspirations of becoming a top 3 team. They should be sad but wishing Kimi the best and praising all the things they achieved toghether.
But if it's all BS, and they know Kimi was the one really pushing them towards the top and their only hope to get a good sponsorship to carry on for next year. Then they are really fucked. And that explains all this tantrums, begining with that very explicit bunny pic in Twitter " title="roll" />
Since I can't sleep anyway, I'm going to post something...
Woa! He speaks bad about Kimi but even worst about Allison, he says he's no Newey, that he only organized meetings " title="roll" /> man, talking about sour grapes h" title="hih" />
I think Lopez is playing investors dirty game here. He is stretching the payments so long he can , that he can get all the profits from investments..I mean he probably has invested teams money to somewhere and takes interests and profits , maybe he even waites for FOMs money. I also think he has ruined the sponsor negotiations himself, maybe by demanding sponsors to by a share of his team . He is above all investor banker. By trying to promote Grosjean over Kimi , they are trying to sell their team as a good sponsoring object despite Kimi leaves. Kimi must have known all these things and he even might have brought the cat on the table because of unpaid salaries to team members too. And above all Kimi talked straight from his mind. Lopez may have taken it with pich of salt, thinking Kimi is digging ground under their feet. By acting like this Lotus isnt really making themself a favour.
According to @F1Direct, Kimi Raikkonen could be replaced by Davide Valsecchi in Korea. #F1 #Formula1

@weifen9 Bad back. According to the sources, his situation is still unstable. Very likely that Valsecchi will take over in Korea.
I think maybe not a bad idea for Kimi to rest and get in better shape for remaining races. Also would be a chance for Valsecchi to show what he can do, he is Lotus's reserved driver after all.
I would be happy for Davide but sad for Kimi, since Korea is a good track for the E21. And he will see the third in Drivers Championship go further away. " title="" />
On the other hand, if is good for his back to fully recover, maybe is best. Back problems are very serious, Kimi should be more carefull with himself.
Yesterday TJ13 reported that Raikkonen’s back problem may stem from an accident he had while testing for Sauber in 2001. It appears that the back problem that flared up this weekend in Singapore may put his 2013 season on hold (had to fight the urge to say ‘ice’).
McLaren team doctor, Aki Hintsa, was on hand to get Raikkonen back on his feet before the race. Rumors from Italy are suggesting that Kimi won’t be finishing the season with Lotus because of the lack of payments and is now considering considering back surgery before the end of the season.
Should this happen it may give Valsecchi a chance in the hot seat at Lotus. Another potential replacement could be Hulkenberg as his contract with Sauber has been terminated and effectively he is a ‘free’ driver.
Although it would be great for Valsecchi to get a chance to race in Formula 1 and he may be the next revelation, Hulkenberg’s stock is incredibly high at the moment. Dragging the Sauber to places it is not supposed to be in and having scored points in the last two races he may be just what Lotus needs.
Without having a points linked bonus Hulkenberg may be able to contribute to Lotus’s constructors tally ensuring they remain in 4th or try and overtake Mercedes. The question is, will they be able to pay him any money?
Oh how convenient this is for Lotus. They don't have to pay Kimi his half a million dollars (sometimes more) per race and they will probably still get some constructors points.
This whole thing smells fishy. Why can't Kimi switch teams in peace? " title="dunno" />
I hope Kimi can fully recover from this, that's the main thing. " title="pray" /> " title="holy" /> " title="peace" />
