Very happy for the position, less for the gap from Vettel. But he said there was something wrong in the setup of this car so...
Tomorrow it will be difficult. Start aside, RedBull is a threat, its pace was strong yesterday, and Ricciardo is not a gentleman in overtaking. A podium would be good.

Singapore Grand Prix - Happy to finish third

Kimi pleased despite unexpected difficulties

Kimi Raikkonen: “I’m happy to finish third considering the difficult day I’ve had compared to yesterday. I have been struggling all day with the set up of my car, finding the grip and the balance. It was difficult to make the car work as I wanted. We always try to do our best in a race weekend and here it seems to work. Some places seem to favor one team and some others other teams, this time we have been having a pretty ok weekend so far. Our aim is to improve for the race, tomorrow we’ll see how strong our opponents are, we’ll try to do our best and hopefully have a stronger race as a team.”

Oh, nobody a word over the race?
Okay, so my summary....
We would have seen a very boring race if we don´t have this crazy drunk idiot on the track and some little / bigger crashes with SC phases.

It was very surprising for me to see Mercedes struggle! Kimi was not happy after the race, said he had problems and had never a chance to catch Ricciardo. But I´m happy. Both red boys on the podium- finally! And no Merc to see.

Räikkönen: 'No chance' to fight up front

16:06 – Ferrari's Kimi Räikkönen says he had "no chance" of fighting for victory at the Singapore Grand Prix, after suffering severe tyre wear.

Räikkönen held on to third at the start of the race, but was unable to match team-mate Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo.

Räikkönen ultimately finished a quarter of a minute behind the pair, logging his second podium of the season, after taking second in Bahrain.

"Friday was fine, yesterday we struggled for some reason, so it was surprise to be third, and today was a struggle again," said Räikkönen.

"We had enough speed to be in third place but I had no chance to do anything about the first two.

"I could follow them at the beginning [of the stints] but then my tyres dropped off and just went, so it wasn't nice to have that kind of difficulty.

"But when you have a bad few days and still finish in third it's pretty good, and also nice for the team, so hopefully we can repeat that."

Räikkönen's result moves him back up to fourth in the standings.

Kimi’s third place came at a price

“I have mixed feelings: I’m happy to be third, considering how difficult it was yesterday, struggling with the grip and the handling of the car, but I’m a bit disappointed for not having been able to fight for a better position. Today I knew it was not going to be easy: it was a tricky race, on new tires I was able to follow Daniel easily, but then I was starting to have the same problems as yesterday, and I did not have enough speed for trying to catch him. First and third is a great result for the whole team, but of course it could have been better. It’s hard to predict how is going to be in the next races , but I don’t think we should get carried away. Obviously some tracks fit you better that others: we’ll do our best as usual. Hopefully we’ll find out that we can be competitive again fighting at the front. We have done an amazing job as a team so far, we keep improving, building and learning a lot in all areas, we are going in the right direction.”

haven't had time yet to read and post about the race.

I'm happy for both Kimi and Vettel, of course. That pic of them both drinking champagne is just great.

To bad Kimi couldn't fight for the front, maybe next time.
