new nose looks dangerous....

...and ugly

Depends how you look at it. That new front nose looks extremely aggressive. If this is what will be strapped on the car: it looks like Ferrari are trying to eliminate drag from the front.

Is anyone familiar with what kind of driving style Alonso prefers? I've seen a youtube video with Brundle where he has videos of Alonso driving for Renault and 'sloppily throwing the car into the corners' and waiting for the front end to bite. Seems to me he prefers understeer. Which I would assume this wing would promote. But it's hard to speculate after only seeing one piece of the car..

we'll agree on this.....thats why i call it dangerous in terms of better aerodynamics...

I thought all teams will have those ugly noses with a bend because of the new regulations <img src=" title="dunno" />

really? i'm wondering....you think the shape of the nose is linked to a specific regulation? which one? <img src=" title="dunno" />

that the nose has to be lower. it will be messured at a certain point and there they will have that bend. probably there will be some difference in design but I fear they will all look ugly. and without that bend the whole chassis would have to be lower and that would be worse. at least that's what I have read somewhere.. will look for it

+1

That's what I originally thought, quite a smart idea.

here http://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/form ... 31050.html there isn't much more about that than what I said. just that the point where the height of the nose can be a maximum of 55 cm (45 mm less than last year) is 195 cm from the back roll bar. on that page there is also an animation of the new regulations

- Upon seeing the first results of the new fund in the tunnel and all unfinished test, Tombazis and Fry went to talk to Corrado Lanzone
- Soon Tombazis came out and went to his apartment while talking to Pat Fry, Corrado Lanzone continued for some time
- So far, no tests have been completed, so no final results, except in the hands of Tombazis initial, Byrne and Fry
- As are the final results of the test in the tunnel, trying to learn if given the 8 points in the CFD simulations

This was leaked last evening. I'm guessing most of those in Europe were probably getting ready to <img src=" title="sleep" /> when it was announced. Supposedly: this is a leaked photo of the 2012 challenger. Maybe the Italian crowd ( <img src=" title="momo" />) could translate a bit? I'm a bit suspicious...
