RUDSKOGEN ( aftenposten.no ) : The helicopter arrived Ferrari driver Kimi Räikkönen magnificent facility at Rudskogen . The 34-year -old Finn , nicknamed " Iceman ", visited motorsports facility along with one of Ferrari's sponsors, and responded well to questions from the press , raced go-karts against journalists and participated in the recording of two TV program Golden Goal .

In just over a quarter black F1 world champion from 2007 to questions. And when he was asked what he would do if he did take control of the Formula 1 circus , Räikkönen was almost eager.

- From a driver's perspective , we want better grip and faster cars . More horsepower. But it is not we who make the rules , so we'll make the best of the way it is today. But there must be some changes , says Räikkönen .

- What changes ?

- There must be some changes needed to make the cars faster. It's hard , but I think it will make the races more interesting and exciting, says Ferrari driver .
Formula 1 star Kimi Räikkönen visited Rudskogen in Rakkestad municipality. Here he runs karting.

Finn stands with 20 victories in Formula 1 circus after his debut in 2001. But this season has not been so either he himself or Ferrari wanted. Thurs the 7th place is best for now in season, and Sunday was the 12th Monaco Grand Prix. Overall Räikkönen is in 12th place , while stable mate Fernando Alonso is in 3rd place .

Director makes Mercedes duo Nico Rosberg (122 points) and Lewis Hamilton ( 118 points ) , and the relationship between the two is freezing . From Rosberg down to Alonso sets it above 60 points. Räikkönen believes the fight for the world title has been decided already.

- It seems that it is settled. There are so clearly someone who can take them again, but it's probably over . Mercedes cars are fast. We also want to be right up there in the lead , but for me it seems like it 's too late in terms of this season.

- How do you assess the internal fight between Rosberg and Hamilton?

- The I'm not really interested in. The thing that interests me is to do well for yourself and get back to the top, says Finn.

It was he when journalists compete against him on the karting track at Rudskogen . But also there was victory Räikkönen . Viasat commentator and motor sport athlete Atle Gulbrandsen , won .

- Remember to include who won here , then, he said, and grinned after sust goal as the first one .

Kimi: “A hard championship but my motivation is intact”

Rakkestad, 28 May – Kimi Raikkonen spent today in Scandinavia. The Finnish driver was indeed the star of an event organised by Scuderia Ferrari sponsor Santander, which saw him competing against some journalists in a kart race on the Rudskogen track. Kimi was second after agreeing to start at the back of the grid, having been involved in a lot of battles on the track. After lunch the driver from Espoo presented the prizes to the fastest journalists and met the Managing Director of Santander Nordics Customer Bank, Michael Hvidsten, who introduced him to other guests with whom he talked about his time in Ferrari and well over a decade of Formula 1 experience.

Before he took them on the track, the Scuderia driver met the journalists to answer some questions. Kimi was extremely realistic when they asked how he saw the 2014 drivers’ championship. “I think it is very difficult for anyone to battle with the Mercedes drivers but you never know. I would like it to be us even if that will be hard, especially for me personally, given the position in the championship. But I have always been used to fighting and together with the team, which is still hard at work on the development of the F14 T, I hope to be able to get some good results. As I’ve said, we are doing an incredible amount of work and I think we will sort out our problems, but you need time. If we manage it before the end of the season the results will come because my motivation is intact.”

Kimi also confirmed that he doesn’t think he has changed in comparison with his championship year in 2007: “I have more experience compared to when I won the title and I am a few years older but I don’t feel it and I still have a great desire to race. As for rallying? Certainly I would like to do more of it but for now I’m completely focused on Formula 1.”

for whatever reason Ferrari says that Kimi won but more funny is that the guy who really won is complaining about that on twitter
edit: now Ferrari changed the article
