Remembered when I lived there few years ago it happened few times when I drove home from work I couldn't even see my building (which is a 30 floor building) when I was about 10 meters in front of it. The smoke came from Indonesia where they burned forest to create farm lands each year... unbelievable really.
quoteKimi Raikkonen confident he will avoid Monza startline repeat
Kimi Raikkonen is confident he will not suffer a repeat of the start line problem that saw him drop from second place to last at the start of the Italian Grand Prix.
Raikkonen reluctantly admitted he made a mistake at Monza two weeks ago, but does not think major changes are needed to avoid a repeat.
"It went into anti-stall and the reason why ... for sure I did it all correct apart from my finger might have been for whatever reason holding the second paddle in a bit of the wrong position for no apparent reason.
"The end result is the same and obviously we have to learn from those. It's a shame and a bit disappointing but after 200 metres we were last and it wasn't too bad after that. When you start from second place it was not the ideal start, but it happens.
"It's not like we need to do something differently [with the starts], it's a small problem with a big end result from it. We have been doing the same thing for a long time and it just happened to go wrong this time. It's not like the new rules changed anything, it could have happened last year or earlier this year."
Raikkonen is hoping for a smooth weekend in order to qualify high up the grid again.
"We did the same things as normal [in Italy] but obviously we had a good weekend until the start of the race. I don't see it that we did something special beyond the normal things, but obviously everything worked well and we were ready. All the small things were correct, but obviously the end result wasn't good.
"Hopefully here we can do well again and in the upcoming races, but it's never guaranteed you'll get a good result even with a good qualifying. The aim is to do well and we felt good with the car in Monza, but most of the weekends we have been feeling good and then it's just the small details that make it tricky. Let's wait and see, we will try to do a good job again and see where we end up."
I read on twitter he practiced the start many times in the simulator last week in Maranello. Seems he made the mistake There are a lot of strange pictures from Kimi yesterday No clue why.
Yes, that part I did get. One of those strange little things that seem to happen to Kimi way to often. I really don't get why, he's a positive guy who doesn't believe in bad luck. He's one of the most experienced guys in the grid in the most experienced team.
Yes, mistakes do happen and there's also Murphy's law. But there's also the Law of Attraction, he really should start visualizing himself in P1, or qt least the podium. I know Vettel is, he always says it in interviews, really believes it can happen so it usually does.
Still haven't heard Vettel say "Let's wait and see what happens"
In TS Kimi isnt quite sure why did it happen. He says maybe his finger has touched the second clutch or then not. The problem is ,Toni Vilander said, the second clutch has been set up so, it stops on the midway of the movement. If it was set up wrongly, it would have caused this kind of accident. Anyways Kimi says he practised the start hundred times in Maranello and not one of them went wrong.
quoteKimi reckons the session was ‘more or less ok’
“It was a normal practice session, we were doing our normal things and everything worked more or less ok. There is always something we can improve but overall the car was behaving well. As usual, Mercedes will be very strong and also Red Bull seems to be quite quick here, but today it’s only Friday and it’s hard to judge from the lap times. Hopefully tomorrow we’ll have a good day and then we’ll go from there.”

Apple. I always like to read words from Toni or Mr Kulta. Strange with the stupid clutch. Lets hope we never see it again.
I saw interviews from Seb, Nico and some other guy after FP2. The boys all looked like lobsters. Red and well cooked, all sweaty and overheated. Its very hot and humid. Nico said, this is the only race who is no fun because you suffer all the time. Its too hot in the car and you can´t breath proper
