Well.. He does a Monaco helmet! And he has worn the "space" helmet as a tribute to Felix in Australia and Bahrain.. But he will definitely bring another helmet to the next grand prix after a victory " title="wink" />
ZitatSebastian Vettel Q&A: Major surprises unlikely in Spain
The Spanish Grand Prix - the start of the season’s first European leg - is traditionally the race where teams introduce their first major updates of the year. Believe Sebastian Vettel, however, and Red Bull won’t be making significant changes to their championship-leading RB9. What could mix things up, though, is Pirelli’s revised hard tyre compound…
Q: Sebastian, the start of the European campaign is always a moment to reflect. Do you come here as the clear favourite of the title? Sebastian Vettel: Ah, it is much too early to make any predictions. Who would be so bold as to predict the outcome of a 19-race championship after only four races? This weekend we have to concentrate on the modified tyres - and the work that we have to do before Sunday to get our car right.
Q: What will be your main focus tomorrow? SV: To see how the modified tyres work.
Q: Some say that Red Bull and Mercedes will benefit most from the tyre modification. Do you expect that to be the case? SV: How can anybody make such statements without ever having seen them on a car? That is again a job for the soothsayers. I would rather wait until tomorrow. (laughs)
Q: There has been a lot of talk about the possibility of Kimi Raikkonen becoming your team mate next year. You said that you like his honesty. When he was asked what you two have in common he simply said, ‘nothing’. How is that possible? SV: Well, we know Kimi don’t we? And you don’t have to be from the same stable to understand the other. I guess we would like to meet more often, but our schedules do not allow more. But when we do something together I guess we both like the simplicity that goes with it. It is always uncomplicated and that is a luxury.
Q: In-season testing has been talked about again. Would you appreciate that? SV: I like to drive a car so I am the wrong person to ask, because my answer would always be yes. But I think this is too short a view because it is not so easy to come to a good conclusion for all teams. A reasonable way has to be found that works for all, as no team could afford not to test when others do. The environment is too competitive to have some stand still. I think it would be fantastic if there would be more sponsors again - especially for the smaller teams - that would allow them to go testing and to get the field at the back closer again.
Q: Everybody is talking about upgrades this weekend. What is new on your car? SV: To be honest, not too much. I think that the current rules are so exhausted that no big changes are possible and that is what I think we will see this weekend: no huge surprises. But I also might be wrong… (laughs)
