Easily the best "panning" photograph I've seen this year. I've seen so many posted where the helmet is not in sharp focus. Awesome! " title="ty" /> Kriss
Zitat von icemaidKimi looking very ecent during FP. Only concern is he didn't do any long run. Hope it will go well for qulai & race.
Hope you stock up on magnum's cream" title="icecream" /> " title="wink" />
So far, so good. Very assuring to hear Kimi say they ran "heavy."
Seems Kimi has the new exhaust and Romain will not be able to run it this weekend. I'm a bit baffled to hear Romain say he is "struggling" with the car. It seems Kimi has switched roles with Romain. Kimi just never seemed comfortable in the early stages of 2012..
@Sonny, me just got a new box for this weekend! cream" title="icecream" /> Classic, Almond & Mint! " title="drool" /> Enough for quali & race day! h" title="hih" />
ZitatRivals suspect Lotus has unfair tyre advantage By Editor on Friday, March 22, 2013
As Melbourne winner Kimi Raikkonen continues his top form in Malaysia, Lotus’ rivals are beginning to wonder if the team has an unfair advantage.
At Sepang, arguably even more than in Australia, the keyword is tyres.
“Tyres, tyres, tyres, tyres, tyres,” grumbled Red Bull’s Mark Webber on Friday.
Pirelli’s more extreme 2013 product could be clearly seen flicking off the wheels on every one of the 15 corners at Sepang during Friday practice.
Yet serenely at the top is Finn Raikkonen.
Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport points out that the test car used to develop Pirelli’s troublesome 2013 tyres is the three-year old Renault.
It was designed at Enstone.
“The competition has a nasty suspicion,” a report in the magazine read.
“Admittedly it (the 2010 Renault) is a very old car in terms of the speed of development in Formula One. However, certain principles and philosophies of the chassis and aero balance survive for years,” said correspondent Michael Schmidt.
Has that given Lotus an inherent advantage in how it treats the 2013 Pirellis?
“We overlooked and underestimated this impact,” an unnamed rival team member is quoted as saying.
“Maybe we need to think about how we deal with this better for the future.”

Am I the only one who thinks that this comment by Button is disrespectful and useless?
ZitatI think Kimi understood that (the way the tyres work) immediately and drove in a different manner. He did very well more clever than I thought he was.
As usual I think that all the hype will come and haunt Kimi (not his fault as he says that it´s only friday which doesnt mean a shit) and RoGro will beat him during the qualifying as he will find the right set-up! " title="see" />
actually... It reveals a bad trait of button's character, 'being judgemental' ... So more than Kimi, the comment affects button If there is anything i have learnt in life, it is that, everyone are to be treated with respect, never under estimate anyone. I dont think Kimi does either. He always says the guy with most points win championship :D

Mmmmmmmmint, sounds we don't have those here, is even difficult to get a Magnum (to expensive for my country)
@Sonny: I really like the picture of Kimi with the umbrella, how do they make the rain look still like that
Icemaid is more than willing to share her cream" title="icecream" /> , W
In order to make the rain look "still," they increase the shutter speed. The best example of this is looking at the tyres of a Formula 1 car in motion. The faster the shutter speed, the sharper the tyres look. For example, if I shot a Formula 1 car at 1/2000th of a second (very, very fast shutter speed) travelling over 100mph, it would make the tyres look like they weren't moving. You are able to "freeze" the motion by making your camera's shutter speed very quick.
On the contrary, you use very slow shutter speeds to introduce "motion blur." This is where skill is essential in photography. Because it is a fine art to make an object in motion appear sharp with slow shutter speeds. Look at the picture I posted above of Kimi. Only the helmet is in focus. Everything else looks like it is moving. That is "motion blur."

The comment is disrespectful. In the USA, we use the term "two-faced." Meaning someone puts on one face when times are good, and another face when times are not. It's quite obvious to tell how hard the times are at McLaren right now. And I've always felt Jenson is a chronic " title="spinne" /> . All you ever hear over the team radio is "understeer, oversteer, terrible balance, etc.." So I'm not surprised to see a few toys come out of the pram during these difficult times from him.
He's not an elite driver. He was lucky to drive a car which held a significant advantage due to a clever interpretation of the rules en route to a WDC. And now he is trying to call out a single Lotus driver - Raikkonen - for one brilliant performance. " title="roll" />
Raikkonen had the least test mileage of any driver with a serious chance to claim the 2013 title. Pirelli introduced these tyres late in 2012. The same tyres every team had the opportunity to test in Brazil last year. If someone wants to discover that the Lotus "test-car" looks eerily similar to the 2013-spec challenger and has put in 5,000 - 10,000 kilometres for tyre development, I'd be glad to take a different stance on this argument. Until then, it sounds like disgruntled teams venting their frustration that engineering ingenuity can occur for half the price.
