ZitatNow, Ferrari believe Raikkonen will provide more consistent support for Alonso and prevent any possibility of the Spaniard not producing his best.
Something smells fishy here, I hope I'm wrong. I'll just wait for Kimi's driving to do the talking to see who is #1 in Ferrari next year. Hopefully the car also meets Kimi's driving needs. At least Ferrari do know how Kimi's steering should be
I pray lotus comes up with a grand plan to keep Kimi . I do not want him to go to the red team , it's going to take to much to root for them. I like lotus " title="sad" />
sorry maria, it just looks like Lotus run out of any excuses for not providing secure future ahead of game changing new regulations. Kimi obviously knows how new car development is going on and must be really disappointed to go away from very comfortable team

" title="there" /> I do too. Its great to see a team who allows Kimi to be himself and really get the maximum from him. And appreciate his efforts. " title="" />
I'm really dreading hearing the announcement. " title="sad" />
1 + 1 year sounds more like Kimi, how can BBC write this without sources? " title="dunno" /> If Ferrari confirm Kimi today, I need a " title="wine" /> to become ck" title="hick" /> and " title="drunk" /> today " title="" />
Hey, it's nice to read I'm not alone. It's not only Alonso, it's also Montezemolo, Domenicalli, the Italian media... " title="sad" />
Why can't Renault pay Kimi's salary instead of Shell?
I don't know what to do, maybe I'll just go back to only watching the race and no Internet regarding F1. I can't possibly go through all that bull*%#t again. And only if Kimi wins every once in a while, otherwise I'll just quit F1 alltogether. Did I just said that aloud?
I'm really making an effort to look at the bright side:
When Kimi left F1, I honestly thought he will never go back... and he did When Kimi ended his year with Citroen, I thought he will retire from motosports... and he didn't When he came back to F1 with Lotus, I thought it was going to be a disaster... and it wasn't
Well, I have my doubts too but I am ready to give Ferrari a chance, as Kimi seems to be. Andrew Benson writes what pops into his head, he is very much Alonsos man and I dont take anything from him without a pinch of salt. Will see..I dont like this but one thing is sure. Alonso meets a guy who really doesnt give a shit what he thinks and says.
TS writes this morning, the deal about moving to Ferrari is talked in Gazzetto dello Sport too but the information TS has, Kimis deal will not be announced today either.

Am I seeing a patern here?
I agree with the sentiment, I wish Kimi would just stay at Lotus or that Red Bull had a bit more balls to hire Kimi. Lotus is far from perfect but they are 110% behind Kimi and they try, even if it isn't always successful.
I honestly dont understand why Kimi would want to return to Ferrari, they still have all of the same crazy politics. Domenicali might like Kimi but he just doesn't have enough backbone to fight for Kimi. Alonso is there, and he will be using all of his political skills against Kimi, for the last couple of years the cars has been completely opposite to what Kimi wants. The rumours surrounding the Ferrari engine for next year isn't that good. The list goes on and on...
It all seems strange, is Kimi perhaps a bit naive, or does he perhaps really think he has an old score to settle?
Things have been working out for Kimi lately, but Ferrari isn't trustworthy.

I wish they would just announce it and get it over with, people's interest are now starting to wind down.
Do you really believe kimi is naive? He didn't sign for RBR for obvious reason (they wanna win WDC but kimi as a n2).
And do you really think Alonso is loved within Ferrari... there are a lot of stories that the people in the factory and in his garage AND ferrari's management is sick about his behaviour... they have much respect for him as a mighty driver, but not as a person...
I think some people might be very surprised with the outcome next year! Like Hakkinen said, turbos will suit kimi's driving style much better and with allison, domenicali and slade around he will get exactly what he wants, no doubt about that! Alonso wont be allowed to play any games, it is ony of the main reasons they took Kimi in the first place!
I see Alonso jumping teams this or next year at least!
Yes, I know he is a bit naive what comes to other aspects in life, but talking about F1, I think he has been very sharp about the circumstances he is going to. Recent happenings in Ferrari camp have indeed been very telling but what do I know,it could be a big drama play which ends eternal confession of love. The fact they hire Räikkönen is in my opinion Montezemolos way to show Alonso , whose the boss. It also shows Ferrari is probably a bit concerned about next year, they take two experienced driver, to anwer to RBR and to have every knoledge in their possession ,experienced driver has. Domenicali said to Turrini, they are facing a complete change of philosofy. Meaning number one driver policy? I know next years cars may suit to Kimi and I hope it. Allison really knows what Kimi likes but he also knows what Alonso likes. They have to build a neutral car if they want both to succeed. If they want anohter one to succeed , we see it very quickly.
