quoteF1 Grand Prix, GP Brazil, Autódromo José Carlos Pace, Interlagosbr
To round off the 2013 Formula One season, the final Grand Prix is held in Brazil at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace, more commonly known by its former name, Interlagos.
It is a challenging track that is known for its long top-speed section up the hill and some high speed turns with lack of run-off area. Despite only being resurfaced a few years ago, the track remains quite bumpy, therefore good ride quality is required to achieve the performance in the grip limited sections. The bumpiness and the anti-clockwise nature of the circuit combined together make it a difficult race for the drivers.
The circuit has two high-speed sectors, a fast corner combination at the end of the long straight and the twisty infield section that requires a lot of grip, good ride quality and stability. The second sector is very technical and the other sectors are driven by speed. The compromise between downforce and drag is therefore key to getting a good laptime. After an improved performance in Austin, the team are aiming to continue this momentum to finish the season with another points finish.
quoteThe final race of the season is just around the corner, and this time, the weather could come in handy to add some tension to the weekend. Showers are expected on Friday and the chance of rain is expected to ease off during the weekend, although right now it does not look like it's going to disappear entirely.
No matter the conditions, the fight for second in the constructor's championship is about the most important prize that is still to play for, with Mercedes, Ferrari and Lotus fighting for it. Mercedes is in pole position however, and given their recent performances are likely to seal that position. There seems to be a feeling of disbelief that Ferrari could still take it, even from within the team. In fact, there is a considerable chance that Lotus will become a threat for the Scuderia as well, judging form their recent performances.
This race also marks the final one in Formula One for Mark Webber, having started his career at Minardi in 2002, scoring 9 wins and 13 pole positions during his stay in F1.
Both were wet Rosberg was the quickest in both FPs. Nothing specially happenend, I read Hami made a 360° in FP2. Heikkki did well, 9th in FP1- Gro 13th and 4th in FP2 - Gro 10th Lets hope Heikki has a good day today

The Vettel one man show starts to piss me of. It's kind of boring when you almost every single race know the winner. Hope things change next year or F1 is in poor shape

Vettel on pole again..
No Kimi in F1..
Championships have been over for a few races..
It's hard to get the motivation to want to turn on F1.
TBH I am pretty happy that the season is over and we get some rest for a few weeks. Though I think that we will hear lots of BS from journalists about Kimi/Ferrari/Fernando.
