I'd like to see Vettel and Red Bull attempt a 'quick' lap before the session ends.. but I think they have a lot more to check off on their agenda before pushing that car to its limits.
I can't believe the lap by the McLaren. Is this another Brawn surprise?!
That time by Magnussen was 1:34.9. To put it into perspective, Rosberg was on pole with a 1:32.330. Magnussen was on the 'soft' compound.. And I believe Rosberg qualified on the medium compound.

Personally I dont think so at this stage. The lap was set on supersofts. Mclaren likes a bit of showboating from time to time and it seems like that is what they are doing they are also looking for a main sponsor and they have a rookie, so I guess they have to test some limits of the car. They haven't done that many laps today. But then again who knows, I do think they are quick, but not that quick.
As for Red Bull, Vettel did one longer stint where he was lapping in the 1:40's, that is about the same place that some others where also lapping, so they might not be as far behind as people believe.
I was reading debates on other forums and someone had posted a prior announcement that the SS's wouldn't be available to the teams.. But you are correct!
