I think Gino left Ferrari when Kimi left and came back when Kimi came back? he almost looks like Kimi's guardian / body guard... Must be a good friend.
OMG what a race... I couldn't be in the live chat with you guys it must've been crazy in there too because I had guests in my house. They kind of like F1, but don't follow it like us do. So we were trying to expain them what the context and the big picture of the little things that were happening throught the race.
I think it was the first time in years were I really didn't cared were Kimi was during the race ( well I did cared a little )
First of all, I'm very sorry for Perez... he was doing a great race, that long stint with the SS was just awesome (Hulkenberg too).
And Massa was doing a great race too, he could've won it. I was glad he got to pass Alonso... but in the end he was, well, Massa
I really thought Williams and Force India were the teams that were going to proffit from Mercede's power problems, but in the end it was Red Bull. Which I don't mind, I like them both. And I was really happy for Ricciardo, his smile you could see from the International Space Station
About Mercedes, well, it couldn't last forever, you know. Sooner or later they had to have some kind of problems. I'm glad nico got to make 18 points over Hamilton.
As usual Ferrari made Alondo gain a place and Kimi lose many in the pit stop. And what happened to Kimi? why did he spun? Well in general Ferrari was a "0-in-the-left-side" in the race, if you know what I mean.

Max Chilton will drop three places on the grid for the Formula 1 Grosser Preis von Osterreich 2014 in two weeks' time after being penalised for his lap one crash with Marussia team mate Jules Bianchi.
It was the first DNF of Chilton's Formula One career. The Briton had recorded 25 straight finishes prior to Canada.
quote Kimi Raikkonen feels “everything seems to be against” Ferrari at present after he struggled to tenth place in the Canadian Grand Prix.
After an encouraging start, Raikkonen failed to make progress from ninth place and a spin at the hairpin on lap 40 appeared to rule out any chance of points. Although he still recovered to finish tenth – mainly thanks to the accident which took out Felipe Massa and Sergio Perez – Raikkonen said there would need to be more investigations in to why his car feels so inconsistent.
When asked by Crash.net if it surprises him how long it is taking Ferrari to get on top of the issues he is having, Raikkonen replied: “We seemed to have some new small problems during the race with the brakes; there just always seems to be something happening.
“Obviously my spin didn't help but I wasn't expecting to get so much power at that time. We will have to check. We know why it happened but we have check why it happens sometimes and sometimes it doesn't.
“Everything seems to be against us right now. There are times when it feels OK like at the end but we have to find a way of keeping that feeling all the time and making sure that's how it stays. I think this race circuit was difficult for us. We knew that before with the layout that we would be a bit weaker than we want to be but hopefully the next circuits are a bit better.”
And Raikkonen said the inconsistency of the car over each lap is the most challenging problem for him at present.
“It was a difficult race. We were stuck behind people, we had some brake issues at the beginning, and then I spun with the same thing as in practice; for some reason we seem to have a big kick suddenly and then I spun. It was difficult overall, another quite disappointing race. We got maybe one point but not what we wanted.
“[The car] seems to change. It can feel very difficult one lap and then suddenly a few laps later if the tyres work better … I don't know. I can't explain it or tell you the reason because otherwise we would know ourselves. It's like at the end of the race it seems to become pretty OK again. We have to look in to things and see what it is.”
Fernando Alonso, 6th “Looking at the wild final stages of the race, today we picked up some “lucky” points, but we still can’t be happy with where we finished as our aim was to do better than this. In the beginning, my pace wasn’t good and I wasn’t happy with the balance of my car. Then in the second stint, when the track began to improve, we found a good rhythm and we managed to catch the group in front. But we weren’t quick enough to join the fight. What Red Bull did in the race shows how quickly things can change in Formula 1 and that should be further motivation for us to get to a point where we can fight for the win. This weekend, we have made some steps forward, especially on the aerodynamic front, but the others have also improved and now, all we can do is carry on working to be as well prepared as possible for the forthcoming races.”
Kimi Raikkonen, 10th “We knew this would not be an easy race, because on this track, we were not fast enough down the straights and we had some problems in the slow corners. On top of that, today I never had a clear track ahead of me, for one reason or another I was always stuck behind other cars. In the beginning I had some problems with the brakes and the handling of my car wasn’t consistent. Then after a few laps, the tyres behaved better, but still with highs and lows. For a lot of laps, I was stuck behind Kvyat’s Toro Rosso and this cost me precious time. Even if at the moment, nothing seems to be going right for us, the new development package has given us more potential and now we must just try and find more consistency.”
Marco Mattiacci, Ferrari team principal “Even before we got to Montreal, we knew this would not be an easy race for us, because this is not a track that suits the characteristics of our car. The final result is definitely not satisfactory, far from it, but the improvement in performance seen over the weekend shows that to get the most out of our package, we have to push in those areas where our opponents are making the difference. Today we saw that for many teams, this was a battle fought on the reliability front and our main rivals were able to make the most of the opportunities presented to them by Mercedes. My congratulations go to Ricciardo for the first win of his career. As for the future, I can’t make predictions, but I would ask the team to take a long hard look at what they are doing and work together, putting in maximum effort so that our drivers can fight for more ambitious results.”
Pat Fry, Ferrari chassis director “Tyre degradation had a significant effect on today’s race as did, in more general terms, everything linked to parameters affected by temperature, as today it was, as expected, very hot. The start wasn’t easy, because we were starting from far back and here, it’s almost impossible to overtake. The Safety Car coming out on the opening lap reduced the effect of fuel consumption and then in the second stint, on a clean track, the pace improved, but even so, it was difficult to make up places. Fernando’s first stop saw him get ahead of Vergne in the Toro Rosso, while Kimi lost time behind Kvyat, but in the end, he managed to get past. In the final stint, the group ahead closed up and our pace was very good with Fernando, but it was almost impossible to overtake. We brought some improvements to the F14 T and even though this track did not produce the results we expected, we will continue to work on the development of the car and on this front our approach will not change for the coming races.”
Oh man another race to forget for Kimi But at least he had some pace,
Hope he will have all the luck at the next race!
