(Motor-Total.com) - Kimi Raikkonen apparently wanted to change about a year ago in a package with a new backer back to Sauber, where he in 2001 his Formula 1 career began. A group of investors had tried for information of the 'Blick' to take over the traditional Swiss racing team, the Finn was a part of the deal. "Kimi was just a middleman," says Chairman Peter Sauber. However, the plan ultimately failed on the Group's efforts to change the leadership in Sauber.

Maybe I make a mistake in the translation It say that Kimi was near to go to Sauber last year. He had a investors group who want to give money to Sauber, Kimi should be part of the deal (as driver). But Sauber dont make the deal because the investors want to change the leadership. Better now?

I didn't really get it either. So I had a look at original Blick article and there it's a bit different. It's general article about Sauber's financial problems saying that with Sutil's money the problems aren't solved, maybe second driver would be Van der Garde who brings 10 million. The deal with the Russians doesn't seem to happen. Then they write: "Last week there was again an investor group at Hinwil which wanted to take over the team. A main requirement: different leadership! At it already last year the purchase attempt of Kimi Räikkönen with a group failed. "Kimi was just a middleman," Peter Sauber said about it."
That's it. It doesn't say that Kimi would have wanted to drive for Sauber. He just made the contact between that group and Sauber.
Okay, I translate only the article. All in all we can say, its good that the deal not happened. Lotus dont gave money to Kimi and Sauber has no money too but Lotus had the better car.....

Eddie Maybe he is dreaming that Kimi call him when he is drunk
This was posted today in facebook. Its old but nice. Kimis drawing is not bad
Found this in a 2007 issue of a magazine. All 22 drivers were asked to sketch their respective team mates and the results were auctioned for charity. These are Kimi and Massa’s drawing of each other. Some drawing were really quite good; a few are pretty awful.
