sounds like Kimi's and Ricciardo's quickest laps were both on the soft tyre. Although, I did read that a trackside reporter thinks Ricciardo may have been "full of fuel" because sparks were coming from the car down the main straight..
It is interesting to speculate about the fuel levels, but I do suppose they can all go quicker.
From Autosport:
quoteFerrari team boss Maurizio Arrivabene reckons Formula 1 should expect a "new" and "happier" Kimi Raikkonen this year - and he tells an interesting story about the Finn's behaviour in the garage during testing!
I dont really like it when they talk and promise so much before the season starts, I would rather just see Kimi kick some real ass once the season starts. And Kimi himself wouldn't talk to much beforehand, he would rather do his talking on the track. But it sounds good so far.
Quote: Sonny wrote in post #146It's a good article. It pretty much says people were surprised by how much Kimi is talking around the team. Some thought he was sick
My favorite part of the article is this:
quote www.autosport.com Arrivabene added that Raikkonen's behaviour in the garage has also been different to 2014 so far during testing.
"Kimi was also on the ground to move the car and try to adjust something," he said.
"I asked him: 'What are you doing?' He said 'I was a mechanic'.
Yes that is the best part I just wanted to post that!
It sounds pretty interesting, although I can actually easy see Kimi doing something like this, he is pretty hands on with his motorcross team. Personally I dont think this would be something new. But it fun to hear Kimi doing something like this in F1.
Has Kimi been on track recently? We have an hour to go and he was at 74 laps last I heard.. I was hoping to see a few longer runs which would push him past 100 laps for today
quote16:04 It's SO close at the top of the times! Massa goes third with a personal best final sector completing a 1m24.672s. He's 0.098s from top spot.
