Zitat von SpinsterI'm pretty convinced that our boy is a smart guy...
He knows what's happening inside the team... I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Lotus will have major new sponsoring within 2013 and please don't forget people at Enstone knows damn good how to built a WDC or WCC car no doubt about that...
My feeling is that Kimi knows his chances at lotus are as high as in mclaren and without the pressure of media things etc... Kimi acts far better when he feels good... I think Lotus going to be a force reckoned with for the next years...
I think they'll be able to fight even more for WDC next year as the car will be Kimi's style produced...
And he's loved within lotus no matter what EB might try with Grosjean, the big boss is the one who really wanted Kimi and is the one who decides at the end what's happening within the team...
Coca Cola Lotus F1 Team is coming
I agree on most of what you said! " title="hug" />
The "Bad Piggies" by Rovio?
" title="ha" /> Spinne, you always manage to think of a good way out!
And about Ferrari: Alonso owns Ferrari now, and he would never let them pair him with a good driver, because it wouldn't let him look like the "driving-God" he thinks he is. The man can drive, I have no doubt in my mind, but he's not as good as he sells himself to be. The car and the team are custom made for him now, so the teammate is screwed there. No matter who he is.
I'm really happy for Perez for going the other way. I don't see Vettel joining Ferrari either, Alonso would never allow that kind of competition in his own team.
So now the rumors are true! Congrats for Perez, he deserves the seat at McLaren. Now the big question is: What will Schumi do? I don´t understand why so many people want to see Kimi back at McLaren? Yes he had a good times there but also bad times. His last season there was 2006 and this is now 6 years back. I think he has changed (from a rockie to a made man) and also the team has changed. So why should it be like "in the good old McLaren" days??? For me he seems very lucky at Lotus esp. with his personal freedom they give him.
I think it is because mclaren exactly knew what car kimi needed to push 200% at all time... I think that the loss of michelin tyres costed him very badly which he never really recovered... And now again kimi would have been awesome with tyres from last year...
I am wondering...macca really can make an agressive car bcs perez and button both are extremely good in saving tyres... I wonder what the hell hami is going to do in a mercedes eating tyre car with a tyre eating driver...
Than please give me the lotus kimi combo... And tbh red bull will drop i guess as i expect adrian and vettel within ferrari in 2014
Back in honda times they had 900 people to renault 480 people...
Brackley is not a modern f1 base compared to mclaren and lotus which are... And you dont always need big names just smart boys... I read it in one interview with james allison who said we dont have the big names but very smart new people...
Who the hell knows olga as an engineer? She might be as good as newey but we dont know her skills in that... You know what i mean with this comparison...
Zitat von SonnySaw a tweet on f1 fanatic last night Ecclestone heard the 2014 spec Ferrari engine and wasn't happy with the sound. He may consider scrapping the idea
I'm not one to believe conspiracies, but that's a little fishy no? Just hours after Hamilton reveals he's going to Merc... Oh boy.
And about Kimi: I wanted nothing more in life than to see Kimi back at McLaren " title="ha" /> But in all honesty, they haven't won a WDC (minus Hamilton) or WCC since 1999. In this decade they've only won once, so maybe it's not so bad afterall. And who says Lotus can't be quick again next year
Zitat von SonnySaw a tweet on f1 fanatic last night Ecclestone heard the 2014 spec Ferrari engine and wasn't happy with the sound. He may consider scrapping the idea
i read this but without source...
ZitatBernie Ecclestone: "I listened to the noise of the engines in (Ferrari's headquarters at) Maranello the other day, the new engine and the old engine, and even (Ferrari chairman) Luca di Montezemolo said it sounded terrible and didn't like it,"
He feels Jean Todt, "will get rid of it. I think Luca is also saying we should suspend it for two or three years. I think it is sensible to get rid of it and stick with what we have got. It is much cheaper than the new one. It probably could be 30% of the price."
The new engine regulations are understood to be at the heart of the decision by British driver Lewis Hamilton to move next year from McLaren to Mercedes. The change in engine regulations was expected to give Mercedes an opportunity to improve performance as it would be a fresh start for the teams.

I already thought I'm the only one not wanting Kimi in McLaren again h" title="hih" /> I'm happy with him at Lotus " title="ii" />
still I'm surprised by Hamilton's move. I wonder what lead to that.. the money, the possibilty to have all kind of personal sponsors? (to make him big in America " title="roll" /> ) or he needed a change, there were really problems inside the team? or the engine rules? would be funny if now the rules wouldn't be changed btw why do they actually change the engine rules, what's the reason behind? as it's very likely that after such a change the engine will be decisive if a car is quick or not! and there might be a lot of reliability issues at the beginning.. and if the sound is really crap.. who wants all that? " title="mad" />
apparantly McLaren knew only 2 days before that Ham will leave! so that was a quick decision to get Perez. I think it's a good one. he is talented but of course still has to learn. but who else could they have taken? (apart from Kimi h" title="hih" /> ) I don't think di Resta is anything special.
Lotus isn't a bad team. Kimi is happy there and if he is faster than Romain and has more points the team will be behind him like we see now. Boullier can't do anything else. latest interviews he speaks very nice of Kimi so I don't have much worries that it will change next year. and they have a good car now so why not next year again? sure sadly they are falling behind now but it's because their latest updates didn't work and I still have hope that the next will and then it will look better. " title="holy" />
it could get interesting what happens after next year. the rumour that Seb will go to Ferrari in 2014 is getting bigger and it's possible, Ferrari is used to make contracts years ahaid, happened with Kimi and Alonso as we know. would also explain why Ferrari doesn't get rid of Massa as they just need a driver for one year. But Seb and Alonso in one team? .. " title="hmm" /> I thought he would go there after Alonso.. anyway if it happens and we assume that Webber would retire there would be two free seats at RB. and they would need an experienced driver together with one of their young ones.. " title="naughty" />
Zitat von KurskiMichael Schumacher next year Lotus F1 Team second driver?
" title="blink" /> " title="ty" /> K
How should this be possible??? Grogro has a contract with Lotus 2013, right? And I cant believe, that the Soupman let his darling go.... But this is a very good newspaper, normal they write no rubbish.... they write, that Niki Lauda had contacted Lopez at the last race because Schumi " title="blink" /> And that Eccelstone want to help to pay Schumis salary. " title="doh" />
One sentence is " title="mad" />
ZitatDoch auch hier bleiben erstmal die Zweifel, ob Schumacher sich einen Kimi Raikkönen noch antun will. Der Finne gilt nicht eben als pflegeleichter Team-Kollege.
Translation: .... if Schumacher want a Kimi Raikkonen. The Finn is not as easy-care team-mate known. " title="tap" />
