Two months. Nothing but cold winds.Snow storms. Freezing temperatures. Again snow. And ofcourse, Ice.
My tree stood still. It was time to sleep. This was the time of the Dream world to all the trees in our land. Somehow I knew my tree still knows what happens in the reality.
It was so lonely. I had digged a hole into the snow to myself and my tree was under a thick layer of snow. I smiled as I thought the tree would like it. I put a few Ice flowers to its branches and layed down to watch them.
-"Tree!..I am going to chew your bark ,if you dont tell me what happens in the world, like why a spider have eight legs instead of six and then there is one minor thing like where the heck is KImi?!" My voice vanished to the cold air. Nothing.
I should have known better.
Night came and the stars twinkled from cloudless sky. The milky way were above me like a big rainbow and I started to get sleepy.
" Finally! It was about a time to sleep!" The tree said to me. "What, who, where?" I mumbled. " You are in the dream world. This is the only way to talk to you..now I am sorry I cant let you see the dreams of the gods. You would sleep for ever." "Why? are they so powerfull?" -"Nope, just big." -"Oh." -" Now I have something to show to you. Look over there." Tree nodded. "Where?" "Open your eyes, genious!" -"Oops..sorry ,I am sleeping."
I looked down and at first I saw only something white. Then I began to see different colours, blue,light green, turquoise..dark blue, light blue. And blue sea.
I saw ice that flew from the icy islands to another and suddenly I understood. These were a huge icebergs and I felt a shiver in my spine.
The tree told me to stay quiet. I heard mourning.I heard cracking.Something was trying to get out of its icy prison. The big Iceberg broke to many different pieces in front of my very eyes and the noise was not anyone to hear..as it was far far away from the civilized world.
Here , in the eyes of god the little Iceberg was born.
It floated here and there and succeeded to escape from the big pieces that almost berried it under them. And like all icebergs, I knew there is much more underneath the surface that meets the eye.
"This is the one and only.Ice one." The tree said and carried me rapidly to the other place. Now I regocnized the place immediately.
Kimi walked there and I just wanted to watch him. I saw the vulnerability in his eyes. But I saw the colours of ice in his eyes as the sun hit them from different directions.
This was the man that had walked in the sunshine but knew there is always cloudy days.And a few of them had just crossed his road.
Icy winds had landed to Sweden. These winds blowed gently but strongly enough to have the big names wrinkling their foreheads as they felt the cold shiver in their spines.
It had just given the warning. I am coming. Fast.
I got back to my snowy home and looked to the distance. The wind blowed and icy flakes fill the air like thousands of butterflies. The sun glimmered in the ice.
"Walk in the sun shine and may your joyrney be safe." I whispered .

I had to belive the ice age had come. Its april ,for gods sake and we have still thick snow banks and only during the afternoons warmest moments a few drops of water barely reach the snow. My tree was awake. But it was so silent and I knew why. The nature had had again one of its violent tranformations and it hurts, as unbelievable it sounds. But the nature suffers too and humans too often forget they are part of the nature. My tree hears and feels all the feelings of the earth. I just smoothed out its old bark and looked to the south. Somehow I got the feeling we will have our spring and running waters in a sudden outburst.. Where are you, my little ice berg? What are you doing? Are you pushing thru the stormy and salty water and growing fast? What secrets lies under the surface , there were the sunlight doesnt reach? "Well, dont ask, just go there and look yourself! "The tree said in my head and I smiled. Thank god it hasnt changed a bit.
I took my time again, just to look at him. He was a bit frozen but thats allright. Its difficult to come from ice to gravel. You know what happens if you slide on the ice and suddenly hit the sand? I had something in my hands . -Hi, Kimi. I swinged my legs on the branches of the old tree. I like old trees. - Well, hello there. Where have you been? Kimi smiled to me and Kaj winked his eye. - On the north pole. - You havent given me a map this time. Kimi raised his eyebrow. -Do you want one? I have here a map of north pole.I raised mine. -Err..no. I guess no more dum questions..you have something ,dont you? -well, ofcourse ..I have a book. Kimi took the book and opened it very carefully. -Its empty?! - Hear me now..I touched his shoulder. - Every human is an unopened book .Every book starts with a one word. You can have many books during your life . If you look behind you, you see a huge book already..its a book of your era in tracks. You can see ,its a closed book . - Because its a closed chapter..Kimi asked silently. -And now look at your book. Look at the first page. Kimi looked again. In the middle of the page there was a word written with old letters: Ice one. It vanished again..and came back again,and vanished again. -What is this? -Only you know that..and I think you know. - Is the chapter of track book closed? do you mean that? Can I open that book again? - Ofcourse you can. Only you know, is all this , I showed the rally place,enough to you? Do you miss fighting wheel to wheel ? Or is there something else? You have a habbit to keep your fans in constant rollercoaster. Or do you need it yourself, do you need the action all the time as the rally season flows much more peacefully. Keep this book with you. Maybe we will see something in its pages, maybe we dont. - Yeah..thankyou. It will be with me all the time. -It will. Once you opened it, it will never vanish. -Where I keep it? I cant have it in the car. -Its everywhere. It appears only if you need it. -should have known..Kimi laughed and the book disappeared. -Its time to go now..my tree is having a tough time. You..take care. - Until we meet again. Here and there. Kimi smiled. I went back to my tree, still under snow, still silent . - Hows the little Iceberg? Tree asked in my head. -Reading a book without words. -oh..nice. -what on earth is he doing? I mean the nascar thing? -Do you know which way the ice bergs come to Atlantic? -Oh..bugger. Ofcourse.Thru the North-America.
