Zitat von SonnyI actually don't expect anything to be announced at Monza. Ferrari said they wanted to evaluate Massa for a few races and Red Bull seem in no hurry to announce their (very likely Ricciardo) driver.
Evaluating Massa is the biggest rubbish ever. Ferrari knows full well that he hasn't been up to scratch for 3 years now, a few races will not change that fact. Much like Red Bull, Ferrari just doesn't want two to top drivers.
Kimi will stay were he is or Mclaren would have to let Button go, which doesn't seem likely. But at the of the day no one knows how things will be next season, so Kimi might as well stay were he is.

I agree it's rubbish to evaluate Massa. But didn't we think the same in 2012? And look where Massa ended up in 2013.. If Ferrari don't see any other potential replacements, Massa may stay. The only reason I think this could be true is Romain is not contributing enough to the WCC. If Ferrari would finish P4 instead of P3 in the WCC, surely that wouldn't be acceptable!
I think it proves your point. That Ferrari went a clear #1 and a support driver. Will they roll the dice and hire Hulkenburg or Bianchi? Who would replace Massa?
let's call them "FIRE UND ICE" as olga suggested " title="ha" />
but I wonder how people will react here when he actually goes...
I, speak for myself, am damn sure the contract is done as I stated before already...
Lotus is very quiet, remember they stated they would sign the infinity deal but nothing happen at all... sorry I like lotus very much but they are in financial problems... it is their biggest problem... only for that I want him in ferrari and tbh it can't hurt Kimi at all because some people rate him lower than massa (cfr 2008)...
It might be just a very smart and good move from KR! He's not that DUMB to sign a contract he doesn't want... remember he said he won't sign a thing when it's not to his likings!

Yes that is exactly what I mean. The story about evaluating Massa is all nonsense they was compliant yesman for Alonso. I would feel sorry for Hulkengerg if he did have to go there.
I think Button might actually be a good replacement for Massa, or Rosberg. But I dont see that happening. I would be surprised if Massa actually gets replaced.

If the Ferrari thing actually happens, I think it would be Kimi's worst career move, as the saying goes fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.
I think there is no chance of getting equal treatment in, Ferrari-Santander-Alonso, any drivers who goes there expecting equal treatment is a bit naive. But that is just my opinion.
And besides that all of the reports out there are reporting that Ferrari has the worst engine for next year. Money or no money I dont see any prospects at Ferrari.
we all have our opinions, whats sure is that we all want Kimi's best and we just pass info through our different filters so we reach different conclusions... " title="chat" />

What has he got to lose ? , on the contrary he is getting some respect back , the fact that the same team who ' sacked ' him wants him back , gives him a stature worldwide
Also , Kimi might never have a shot at WDC again, if so, I guess going against Alonso in the same car is as worthy a challenge. Clever people learn from their mistakes, so Kim I would have learned how to make demands and Ferrari hopefully how to keep him happy.
I agree he got nothing to lose, I'm sure he's up for the challenge h" title="hih" /> My first choice would be RB... but if he only had choices between Lotus and Ferrari then I prefer he goes to Ferrari and have a good fight.
I always believe the reason they payed him off not to drive in 2010 was because they couldn't fire Massa due to his injury.
It is very strange that Mr. Pekka Franck is so confident in his assertion that Raikkonen signed a contract with Ferrari for 2014. It makes you question what is actually logical in this entire scenario. Firstly, if Raikkonen were to go to Ferrari in 2014: I can not see how he would sign a contract to drive alongside Alonso. Reference Boudica's latest post. How can you expect "fair" treatment from Alonso-Santander-Ferrari when you were dismissed from the team by this same "team?" He didn't get fair treatment since 2008, and all of a sudden he would get it when paired alongside Alonso? Surely Kimi isn't that naive.
As for what he has to lose: everything he has gained back since his re-emergence into F1. Some might choose to look at the scenario from the angle of WDC or Bust. And preface that scenario with Kimi only signed with lotus as a stepping stone to get one last WDC chance. But reference my prior paragraph. With the understanding Alonso isn't leaving Ferrari after this year. Its wishful thinking. " title="pipe" />
If it was a ferrari-alonso-santander team, I am pretty sure they wouldn't even consider hiring a star driver, because it takes the limelight away from their driver. It is Ferrari f1 team and hiring Kimi would make that statement ( that Ferrari comes first )
No, he doesn't stand to lose anything, he is an adult, he has proved everyone wrong by performing consistently in the first year of a come back. Losing against Alonso, would do nothing to that, maybe it will raise Alonso's stocks, but frankly kimi might not care about that
P.S yes i-ning I do believe they just couldn't fire Massa and they already had a contract with Alonso ( corporate world! )
Zitat von Denorthjust thought... If Kimi ends up in Ferrari with Fernando, should we call them Tango & Cash?
alonso should be worried about his sister then... does he have a sister?
Tango&Cash???? you find me a bit ignorant here D
i think he has a very good looking sister
you cheeky Russian, i dont get you
Tango & Cash - movie with Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone: two cops don't like each other and have to work together, very different in their approach and Cash ends up with Tango's sister.
My mind is twisted " title="crazy" /> " title="nurse" /> " title="doctor" />
