Zitat von icemaidExactly that's why they took Dan. We can share the ice cream now!
Shame they have a chance to sign Kimi & didn't. And Kimi won't be in F1 for long, maybe just another 2 years the most. Missed opportunity for Red Bull.
yes, total miss for rbr... " title="girl" />
as i said, i have bought the ferrari possibility too. perhaps not as a done deal as Pekka is saying but as a high possibility.
Not only pekka, there are a lot of credible people who said it:
those italians (from sky and cnn), Jordan, Saari, turrini
Yesterday vanzini (from sky) talked with valsecchi (3rd driver at lotus) about Kimi and almost said kimi signed with Ferrari:
Valsecchi: everyone within lotus was sure kimi signed with RBR, but he surprised us a lot (both laughing) Vanzini: instead he signed with another team (both laughing again) ....
Is it turrini or vanzini who said that? Im confuse
Zitat von Denorthcan it be that 'another team' is Lotus and they were surprised he stayed with them?
i had the same thought D...but Turrini would not be laughing if Kimi was staying with Lotus...but would then Val laugh if Kimi left his team? could be a chance for him.... " title="dunno" />
I understand it like this: (maybe a native Italian can give us a little help here too)
ZitatThe 2 of us
Alonso and Kimi's shadow on the Ferrari There will be an explosive Monza GP, also in the drivers market
I've already read the article. It was awesome! Italian media finaly admitting Kimi being a top driver. And having to leave F1 only because being forced to make way for Alonso and Santander's money. Plus he being the #1 driver and not Massa. That he only had to support Massa for the title in 2008 because his car failed and therefore Massa was leading in points. And that he had a win in 2009 with the crappy F60 " title="run" />
Even if he doesn't go to Ferrari, the rumors led to this wonderful article, so I'm satisfied
And Turrini says hiring Kimi is a thing of logic and comon sense for Ferrari, though admitting later in the article that Kimi and Fernando are completely opposite.
Oskari Saari said he has got some more information about Kimi to Ferrari rumour..according to them, Alonso was leaving Ferrari, but Santander succeeded to talk him out of it and Ferrari really is playing with the thought of Kimi -Alonso combo.
Some of these stories are very difficult to believe.
Say Alonso did leave Ferrari: where would he go?!? " title="rb" /> has DR. He's driven for Renault/Lotus on 2different occasions (and his manager is no longer team principle), Merc is full and he will never go back to McLaren. Darren Heath had an awesome column after SPA GP about Alonso. But back on topic.. He was never moving from Ferrari with Santander sponsorship. And I still don't believe Kimi s naive enough to expect fair/equal treatment against Ferrari-Alonso-Santander.
