If we go along with Fatimas secrets..it went about like this. The first and second secrets were revealed rather soon but the third secret was kept hidden until year 2000. Before that the pope (Ratzenberger) hinted to apocalyptic omens saying people would just make a sensation about the third secret. Another expert hinted to the same kind of "world end prophecies" and when the third secret was revealed , it was a total pancake. Nothing to do with the apocalytis. But...the general feeling was, the Vatican didnt tell the real secret.
Well, I think Mr. Turrini is being disrespectful comparing any of this with Virgin Fatima's secrets. (like Jimmy Kimmel also was yesterday, making his guest tweet: "what's your problem" to Pope Francis). Even when you don't share the same religious beliefs, one really should try to respect other's and Mr. Turrini really should know better.

Refrain yourselves SiT (suckers in transit), please. I will try to express my opinion on the Catalan event in which Alo and Kimi had a key role.
1) With different application strategies, Raikkonen would have finished sixth and Fernando, seventh.
2) It’s good that the Holy Drinker (*Kimi) asks for explanations.
3) Does the difference in placement justify the huge uproar at the blog level? Do you really find it so important? If there was the victory as premium or even the podium, I would have understood that. But here we are discussing the straw to hide the beam (*meaning the real great problem is the slow Ferrari car and the little problem is the war about a sixth or 7th place between Kimi and Alo).
4) That is, I think the Ferrari pit wall was wrong, but I doubt that this is the real problem.
5) The problem is that the car is a wreck. I feel sincerely guilty for helping to bring the Blond back to Maranello. But not for a call-tire pit: but to see him (and Alonso) in such a mortifying situation. This is the “beam”. If the SiT (always suckers in transit) do not understand it, peace.
6) Coming to more serious things, I was among those who wanted to rehire Raikkonen at Ferrari because a great team needs two strong riders, very close in performance.
7) And this is Fernando and Kimi, see Bahrain and see Barcelona. In qualifying they are 3-2, not 5-0. And if I were an asshole I could say that we’re 2-0 in the dry for the last Ferrari champion of the world. And five years with zero titles (*here Leo talks like Mourinho when he talked about Milan: “Zero tituli” in portuguese language) is the bitter reality, not attributable to the spaniard, but maybe an asshole would remember legends of 2009 about the rider who could make a team grow and lead the development and such nonsense peddled by pushers of lies! Thank goodness that I never fell for that dope. I’m sorry that my godson Mensurati (*an Italian sport journalist) supports idiocies like “Alonso has outraced Raikkonen” without realizing that it was by a few meters using a strategy more favorable. This means ‘asphalt’? In which movie?
7) And I shall remain mum about other interpretations of the Catalan event expressed by the media. I just need to be the one-eyed king in a world of blinds.
8) In short, it was Alonso to say: “with the same tires I would not be able to overtake Kimi”. Just because they are two champions that are substantially equivalent. You may prefer one or the other, but there is a great difference if you use words like champion-trash can. There are too many people who smoke guns around. Try it with the peyote.(*meaning there are many out of their minds and talking nonsense – like people who smoke marijuana!)
9) In addition, all of these are the chronicles of Poor Lovers. Here we witness a sporting drama: a pair of champions humiliated by a mechanical vehicle which does not allow them to fight for the positions they deserve. I dreamed of having discussions about Raikkonen vs Alonso with the world champion title at stake. I care little about a sixth final place. It is right, again, that the Red wall (and I want to know who’s in charge there now) does not commit managerial nonsense, but I insist: we are talking about nothing. We have to love Fernando and Kimi for the effort they put into it, in spite of the melancholy they certainly feel.
10) I do not expect to convince anyone, least of all the SiT. I am grateful to all for the opinions expressed civilly and thank Robben Friend (*one of Leo’s blog followers): If about Ferrari crisis he’s right like he was right betting on Rosberg and Hamilton, it is the time to do a Monte Carlo double (*1st and 2nd). Finally, tomorrow night at Fiorano, Red cradle, I will do a conference with the legendary engineer Forghieri and a dear guest on the phone. Whoever is in the area is invited to tune in at 20.30 o’clock. http://blog.quotidiano.net/turrini/2014/...-poveri-amanti/ http://www.racingnerds.com/?p=3739

About the rest, I gladly share with you a couple of things:
‘Mattiacci didn't ask me for anything, when he took my position. That is a good thing, you can see he doesen't needs advice and I, still a Ferrari man, I'm glad about that’.
‘The day I left, three drivers called me. In alphabetical order: Alonso, Raikkonen and Vettel’.
‘Fernando and Kimi are my true friends. I regret the results. I didn't put them together to fight for 6th place, but unfortunately is how it went’.
‘Why did Seb called me? The answer here you have to look for it yourself, sorry’.
‘I haven't exclude to stay in the motorsports environment. But I have excluded and I confirm it, to work for another team, nor Catherham up to McLaren or whoever you want. I will end up in the Ferrari pitwall cheering for Alonso e Raikkonen. It wouldn't work. But in another series, why not?…’
And about the rest, I got beaten by an Italian, of course, so here it is...

Today I saw an old friend. Stefano Domenicali. We have been calling each other on the phone quite often after the fall. But we have not met in person until today. I found him a bit fatter. Must be an effect of the rest. The things that we said about the current situation in the racing division of Ferrari, of course, are strictly confidential. On the other other hand, I can say something and I do it willingly. “Mattiacci did not ask me anything when he took my place. It’s a good thing, you see that he did not need advice and as a Ferrari supporter, I’m happy”. “On the day of my farewell, I received phone calls from three riders. In alphabetical order: Alonso, Raikkonen and Vettel”. “Fernando and Kimi are true friends to me. I regret the results. I didn’t put them together to make them fight for a sixth place, but unfortunately it went so”. “Why Seb has called me? Here you need to find the answer by yourself, sorry”.
“I have never excluded the thought of remaining in the environment of motoring. But I have excluded working for another team, no matter if it is Caterham or McLaren or whoever you want. I would go to the wall and I’d be rooting for Alonso and Raikkonen. It would not work. But in a different area, why not? … “
“About my future, some things they say during this period in the newspapers are true: I have received a lot of proposals, even from different worlds. But honestly, I have no hurry to decide and telling you this, I realize that I am a privileged one when looking at the situation in Italy and in Europe today”.
“I have not watched the Grand Prix of Barcelona on television. I do not know what happened about the pit stop of the Ferrari drivers. What do I think of the things that were said after that? Just do not know what to think as I have not seen … ” “Maybe I will not even watch the GP of Monaco. I went there for more than twenty years and the first thing that comes to mind is the ultimate victory of Ferrari. It was 2003, it was the fifth triumph in Monaco of Schumi. I remember that night we were all confident that soon Michael would have cut down the last record of Senna, the record of six wins in the Principality. Unfortunately, it never happened … “
“About Schumi’s health condition, I know what you all know. I am waiting for good news that do not come, unfortunately. Sometimes I think that between 2008 and 2013, if I had him in the Red Army, I would have won at least one title. But do not misunderstand me: I think Alonso deserved to be crowned champion in both 2010 and in 2012. I’ve always said that to Seb and to have patience even if he has never said he agreed … “

I never know how to take Turrini. He definitely has inside knowledge of Ferrari.. And it may have been because of a strong friendship with domenicali. He was spot on about Kimi's return to the Scuderia. Even if he was only gently hinting at the return throughout the silly season.
Some stuff you really do wonder if he said it. But that's part of a blog
